I felt like a thermometer on a hot day. I was boiling up at my friend Lucy who had just got the Macbook air. She was flaunting it all day long. I felt like it was a chapter from Magnolia and Violet. I just could stand it, I was about to blow.
My name is Molly Smada. It is the first day back to school after the long Christmas break. We all had our new presents and I was excited about my new IPad. That's when my best friend Lucy came in with her new Mac book. Everyone gathered around her with the "ohs" and the "Ahs." That's when I began to get mad no one even talked to me including Lucy. I was about to say something when I heard her say "Hey Molly, is that your IPad. its cool but you should come see my Macbook it has all these cool apps." That when I lost it I walked out of the room as fast as i could with Lucy close behind me. "Whats the matter with you?" she asked "you seem angry." That's when I explained to her that she was showing off so much that she didn't even think to care about her best friend. She apologized and said that she didn't even realize how much she had hurt me. After that we went back and Lucy told everyone how cool my IPad was.
All in all I learned a very valuble live lesson. That just because someone has something cooler That you doesn't mean you can be mad at them.
